Warina Hussain Turns Showstopper At Lakmé Fashion week by R|elan and United Nations in India

Mumbai : This year’s FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week began with a bang and is still going strong. Not only that, but Bollywood diva Warina Hussain who looked non less than a boss babe turned heads as she became a showstopper for ace designer Pratyush Kumar Maurya’s PIEUX.

At the press conference, the actress thanked and congratulated the entire team of Circular Design Challenge, Relan, United Nations in India, United Nations environmental program and FDCI x Lakmé fashion week as she said, “today not just as a show stopper but as a global citizen and a citizen of this planet I thank and congratulate you all for your efforts and this great initiative as we all know sustainable fashion is the need of the hour and we should be more cautious of our fashion wastage and I am proud that in India we have a company like R|elan that is making sure that the needs of our current generation are met without compromising the needs of futures generations, it’s a perfect balance of economic growth and social well being”. She urged that more designers and fashion brands should adopt practices that are eco-friendly.

The athleisure Collection is made from cartex which is up-cycled carpet waste textiles and recycled plastic pet bottles polyester textile. On the work front, Warina just announced her film Yaariya 2 and wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming comedy film, Dil Bill, which is produced by the makers of films like Tanu Weds Manu, Madari, and Thalaivi.
