New Delhi : The Women Empowerment and Gender Equality Initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) revs up momentum with the launch of second phase of its widely-known campaign Tu Hai Shakti at Constitution Club of India, Sansad Marg, New Delhi on March 30, 2024. An all-women conference was conducted on the eve, under the umbrella of its month-long International Women’s Day campaign ‘Swabhiman’, having the women leaders of the society on board to have a dialogue and make a call to action on elevating the focus on women empowerment. The three-hours conference encompassed the organization’s strategy for implementation of the campaign’s 2.0 version, a panel discussion on what the term “Swabhiman” means, why it’s significant and the insights on challenges & issues of modern day womanhood. In a world circumscribed by gender inequality, an unequal footing at home, global gender gap of 68.4% in 2023 as per a report published by World Economic Forum, women are currently choking in froth of societal dirt, where they stay invisible when it comes to accreditation. DJJS Santulan acknowledges the global concern, and thus came up with the second innings of its ongoing Tu Hai Shakti Campaign aiming to foster a sense of solidarity among women and forge a gender just and discrimination free world.

There exist in the society various dimensions of Women Empowerment vis-à-vis Educational, Economic, Political, Social, Ideological et al but these are like few shining stars in the dark sky. To bring the true dawn of Women Empowerment, Women need to explore their Spiritual Dimension and henceforth become embodiments of Absolute & Holistic Women Empowerment as Goddess Durga, the divine ideology of Founder & Head of DJJS – Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji was discussed by His Sanyasin Disciples Sadhvi Deepika Bharti Ji, Sadhvi Aditi Bharti Ji & Sadhvi Jaivani Bharti Ji. Verily, only through Spiritual Awakening can women realize their self worth and transfiguration of existing societal pattern can be attained. The enlightening divine tales of Tapasvini Savitri, Gargi, Maitreyi, Rishika Anusuya, Akka Mahadevi, and many more also manifest the royal path to evolution of human consciousness, and that by invoking the inherent energy of soul in women, they possess the power to propagate values and virtues to generations in one lifetime. The highlight of the said Confenrence of Women Changemakers was a theatrical performance with live commentary showcasing the inspiring journey of one of the ancient Vedic women – ‘Amrapali’ from object-hood to saint-hood.
