New Delhi : The return of Tara Singh and Sakina’s iconic love story has been the talk of the town since Gadar 2’s inception. The first film left a massive mark, and there is immense excitement for Gadar 2. The makers have ensured to give the audience a reminder of its iconic songs, such as ‘Ghar Aaja Pardesi Ke Teri Meri Ek Jindri’ and ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’, which have been given renewed melodies to evoke nostalgia. Additionally, new songs take the story forward as Tara embarks on a journey to find his son, Jeetey, in Pakistan.
Apart from the high-octane action sequences, heartwarming father-son bond, the entire album of Gadar 2 has been creating milestones since its release, adding to the building anticipation for the film. To celebrate the film and its chartbuster songs, the makers organized a special event for fans in Delhi on Sunday (6th August). The event featured glitz and glamour, with the entire film’s star cast – Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Gaurav Chopra, Simrat Kaur, and director Anil Sharma – coming together to greet fans. Singer Udit Narayan and music director-singer Mithoon crooned the euphonious songs of Gadar 2 at the event.
Over 10,000 fans attended this one-of-a-kind music night, witnessing some of the best performances to celebrate 20 years of Gadar and discuss the highly anticipated Gadar 2. The crowd hooted, shouted and enjoyed the magical night to celebrate the iconic music album of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Gadar 2.
Helmed by Director-Producer Anil Sharma, and produced by Zee Studios, Gadar 2 stars Superstar Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in lead roles. The movie is scheduled to release in cinemas on 11th August 2023.
