Mumbai News, 03 April 2020 : Filmmaker Varadraj Swami is ready with his next directorial venture “Kabaad-The Coin” Varadraj Swami has already proven his mettle as a writer through the biopic of Dashrath Manjhi named as ” Manjhi- The Mountain Man” The stellar and captivating motivational dialogues written by him in the movie were extremely motivational and energizing.

Some of the famous dialogues from the movie like “Jab tak todenge nahin, tab tak chhodenge nahni…, ” Bhagwaan ke bharose mat baithna, kya pata bhagwaan aapke bharose baitha ho…, “Shaandaar Jabarjast Jindabad…” have garnered a special place in the hearts of the people. Several respected public figures like PM Narendra Modi, Arvind Kejriwal, BCCI, and Baba Ramdev have used the impactful dialogues of Varadraj Swami for motivating the people of India.
Varadraj Swami is all praises for the dedication of miss India, actress Zoya Afroz in the movie as he says, “Zoya Afroz is not only a terrific actress, she is also very punctual, as she is aware of importance of time. If the call time for the set is 7:00 AM, then she reaches the set on 6:30 itself. Whether the shoot is in Mumbai or out of Mumbai, her disciplined attitude towards time is one of the key reasons that we were able to finish the project before the schedule.”

Varadraj also shared his views on the casting process of the film. He said that the most challenging part of the filmmaking process for the director is searching for the exact character and then hoping that the artist does full justice to his role and attaining this balance is extremely difficult and time consuming.

When you have completed the process of perfect casting then your job becomes easy and for time being I feel that two – three points are extremely pertinent when it comes to the casting process.
First of all I believe that we shall not be pressurized by someone’s opinion about the film and we should take our decisions for the benefit of the movie. Although I feel that as a director you are subjected to several external pressures but amidst all this turmoil and chaos you have to take every decision in the favour of the film. Also, this vital decision is the most important factor that determines the success or failure of the film.

Secondly, if you become emotional during the casting process, then it proves to be extremely dangerous as it is extremely necessary to give opportunity to those who are deserving.

The third point that I would like to mention is that I am not at all careless when it comes to work and I expect the same from my team as well.

The fourth and the final point is that filmmaking is a joint effort and the one who understands it can only deliver a successful film or if we talk in commercial terms, your team unit is extremely important for giving a super hit film at the box office.
