New Delhi : A mega event of Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav was organised by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) at DDA Ground, Sector 10, Dwarka, New Delhi, which witnessed a huge footfall of thousands of devotees.
The exclusive feature of this event was marked by the launch of “VEDANTIC G20 MODEL” of “Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam”.
The orange clad sanyasis of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan along with vibrant youth force of the Organisation launched the Vedantic Model of G20 in the presence of distinguished guests.
The model was launched amidst fluttering saffron flags and tricolors, and echoes of Shri Krishna’s chants, which added to the beauty and enthusiasm of the occasion. In this model, time-tested wisdom from the Vedas was proposed to meet the key objectives mentioned in the G20 agenda, such as environment conservation, women empowerment, promotion and protection of Indian culture and heritage, etc. This launch was also displayed on a fully digital stage made up of 3000 square feet LED screen and 10 huge size LEDs installed in the pandal.
Apart from this, many dance-ballets based on the leelas of Shri Krishna were staged in this grand festival. Insightful explanations of the Krishna tattva inherent in those leelas were also presented by the fully dedicated learned Swami and Sadhvi disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.
More than 350 feet area in the pandal was devoted to tableaus, in which the devotees also got a unique opportunity to witness a glimpse of the pastimes of Shri Krishna. Devotees were found participating and clicking photographs in these exhibitions with eagerness and enthusiasm. Cabinet Minister, Shri Som Prakash Ji along with many dignitaries of Delhi also attended the event. Union Cabinet Minister Smt. Smriti Irani also graced the occasion on the first day of this 2-day mega event (i.e., 6th September 2023).
