Theatrical Release of Subodh Bhave’s His Story of Itihaaspostponed to 30th May
Mumbai : The gripping trailer of His Story of Itihaas is finally out, offering a powerful glimpse into a story that dares to question history itself. Directed by Manpreet Singh Dhami and starring acclaimed actor Subodh Bhave in a career-defining role, the film was originally slated for a theatrical release on 23rd May 2025. However, due to the ongoing India and Pakistan conflict, the release has now been pushed to 30th May 2025.

The trailer introduces audiences to the intense journey of a physics teacher who stumbles upon falsified facts in his daughter’s school history textbook. What begins as a father’s concern soon turns into a war against the system – a deep dive into truths buried under politics, fear, and manipulation. Backed by Panchkarma Films, His Story of Itihaas also stars Akansha Pandey, Kisha Arora, Ankul Vikal, and Yogendra Tikku, and promises to spark conversations that challenge the status quo.
Speaking about the film director Manpreet Singh Dhami said, “This film is my four-year journey – from research to rejections to finally finding the right team. The trailer is just the surface. The real story will stay with audiences long after the film ends.”
