Holi the festival of colours is one of the most important festivals of India and is celebrated with great pomp and fervour. A day before Holi, Holika is burnt to remove negativity and bring the colours of positivity into our lives. The dominant idea behind holi is to spread the message of harmony.

To celebrate this festival, The Student Welfare Department of DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad celebrated the Festival of colors’ “ Holi- Khushiyon ki Fuhar” with its staff members on 27th March 2021. The event was fun filled as the staff members played dry holi and enjoyed sweets following all social distancing norms.

The Principal Director Dr. Sanjeev Sharma and Vice Principal and Registrar Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora praised the efforts of the team of student welfare department Ms. Reema Nangia, Dr. Bhawna Sharma, Dr. Dhrity Gulati, Dr. Geetika Khurana, Ms. Kanika Duggal, Ms. Vandana Jain, Ms. Ritu Gautam, Ms. Neha Sharma, Ms. Poonam Singh, Ms. Puja Goel and Mr. Prince Ahuja for organizing the celebration. He said that Holi is the day to express love with colours and also implored everyone to play safe Holi following all the social distancing norms.
