Faridabad News, 29th September 2019 : To commemorate World Heart Day 2019, Fortis Escorts Faridabad organized a knowledge exchange session on the recent technological and surgical advancements made in the cardiology field. It was attended to by nearly 300 doctors from the public, corporate and trade sector. The talk was led by Dr Sanjay Kumar, Director, Cardiology, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad and Dr. Pankaj Batra, Senior Consultant, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad.

The topics covered in the knowledge exchange session included important announcements around recent advances in interventional cardiology. During the session, Dr Sanjay Kumar and Dr Pankaj Batra revealed that till date, FEHF had conducted over 40000 number of cardiac procedures using superior clinical skills and advanced technology. Participants felt that the sessions were informative. The notable advancements made in the field of cardiology, cardio-vascular and cardio-thoracic surgeries were discussed in detail and the talks were engaging and interactive in nature.
