“Jungle Cry” starring Abhay Deol and Emily Shah screen’s at Berlin Film Festival and receives an International- Theatrical Release

Mumbai News, 21 Feb 2020 : The highly anticipated Rugby film “Jungle Cry”, is set to have an international theatrical release in countries including US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and South Africa and Open for the European market in Berlin from this month.

Produced by “Bollywood Hollywood Productions”, Directed by Sagar Ballary starring Abhay Deol, Emily Shah, Atul Kumar, Stewart Wright, and Julian Lewis Jones. The film also features a cameo of eminent sportsmen Nigel Owens, Phils Bennett and Colins Charvis the former captain of Wales. 149 years old Scarlets Rugby Team and Rugby World Union have been supportive to the film.

“Jungle Cry” is the story of 12 Underprivileged tribal boys from remote areas of Odisha playing Sports barefoot in “Kalinga Insititute of Social Science (KISS)”, Orrisa, India to winning the World Rugby Championship. The film encapsulates their struggles in the journey of reaching this successful peak. “Kalinga Institute of Social Science”, founded by Dr.Achyuta Samantha has sheltered 30,000 underprivileged tribal students with education, sports, and nourishment for a sustainable life. The film indeed is the pride of the country with an extremely inspiring story.

The Wales Screening, hosted by the Government of Wales. “Societe General and Global Sportswear Brand Adidas” collaborate in support as Brand Partners.

At the occasion of such an enticing moment, Abhay Deol conveys his joy with the quote, “Jungle Cry is a story that defines nothing is impossible. With the movie set to release across the globe, it will get the audience to witness the amazing journey of the young Indian tribal boys of my country and their achievement”.
